--------------------------- FOR LIMITED TIME ONLY! 80% OFF!! --------------------------- eWhiteboard turns any Mac/MS Win PC and projector into an electronic whiteboard, enabling the user to interact directly with the projected desktop image. Once setup, the application tracks position of a LED keychain flashlight and moves the mouse on the projector desktop to the same location. Check out the YouTube video at support website How the system works: The eWhiteboard app works by utilizing the iPhone camera to view the desktop on the projected screen. The user stands near the projector screen and moves a LED flashlight against the projected desktop image. eWhiteboard processes the captured camera image to detect the bright light emitted from the LED flashlight. The position of the bright light is transmitted to the Mac/PC which moves the mouse to that location. Requirements: ------------- iPhone 3GS or higher LED keychain flashlight* Mac/MS Win PC with projector - (will work with LCD screen too) Mac/MS Win utility software (download FREE from support website) Wifi network iPhone stand (optional) *eWhiteboard system needs line-of-site between iPhone camera and LED flashlight bulb. Use a LED keychain flashlight that has bulb exposed and light emitted in (almost) all directions. See support website for more details. Prepare instructions: --------------------- 1. Download OS X/MS Windows utility from the app support website to the host computer. 2. Connect the iPhone and the host computer to the same wifi network. 3. Optional: For prolonged usage, it is recommended to connect the iPhone to a power source. High usage of resources may drain the battery power quicker than normal. 4. Launch the utility on the host computer. If prompted by your firewall software, allow the Whiteboard utility to communicate over the network. 5. Launch eWhiteboard app and in "Network Settings" screen, select the host from the list of hosts. If the host is not listed, press "Discover Hosts" button. Alternatively, enter the host IP & Port settings and press Connect. Ensure "connected" state is displayed at bottom of the screen. 6. Switch to "Capture" screen and find a safe place to position the iPhone in the room so that the camera feed covers the complete projector screen you wish to control. For best results, ensure the projector screen occupies as much of the camera field-of-vision as possible. You may wish to use a stand like an iPhone car windshield stand to hold the iPhone in position. 7. Adjust the lighting conditions of the room as desired and check number of "bright areas" on the iPhone screen. If the count is not 0, see Instructions screen in-app or visit support website. 8. Press "Calibrate Screen" button to perform a 4 point calibration process. For each of the 4 points, hold the LED flashlight at the center of the target and turn ON the light. You may restart the calibration process at any time by pressing "Calibrate Screen" button again. At the end of the calibration process, the calibration screen will be removed and you may commence controlling the mouse cursor. If the iPhone moves or changes position, repeat the calibration process. Usage Instructions: ------------------- Hold the LED light as close as possible to the projector screen, at the position you want to perform a mouse operation. Turn on the LED light to left mouse click at that position. Un-clicking the mouse button is done by turning off the LED light. For example, to drag the mouse turn on the light and move it across the projector screen. Turn off LED light to let go of mouse button. During normal usage, you normally do not need to touch the iPhone. After about 10 seconds of not touching the iPhone screen, its screen will go dark but the application will remain operational. It will continue monitoring for the LED light and communicate with the host computer.
